     Once upon a time there was a boy called Tom. He was 10 years old.  He had got long blond hair and blue eyes. He had got a father, mother and a little sister called Vicky. They had a very good time together.

     One day they went on a picnic to the river. The weather was nice. The birds were singing. His mother played with Vicky. Tom and his father went for a walk along the river.

     Suddenly Tom saw something strange that was carried by the flow. The father helped him to fish out this one of the river.

     It was an old box, a studdied hide-covered wood box used by sailors and fishermen to hold their smaller possessions, with the initials "JC".

     Tom was very curious. He would like to know the name of owner of it. Where is it from? And how did it get there?
